The upcoming story DLC for Dying Light 2 will take players to an abandoned opera concert venue. Whereas the area once bore witness to the singing prowess of artists, the remodeled locale will see people try and take each other out just like the Roman gladiators of old. In addition to a gruesome tone, Bloody Ties will also add several new challenges, quests, and weapon types to Dying Light 2. Earlier this year, Techland promised to keep supporting Dying Light 2 for five years. Bloody Ties is part of that commitment. This first piece of story DLC will likely be preceded by several features and updates based on community feedback. Dying Light 2’s appearance at Gamescom 2022 also came with another announcement - the first Dying Light 2 community update is now live. Players can expect to see both graphical as well as performance enhancements, improved durability for modified weapons, and even a marked increase in hostile monsters. Given how Techland values what players are saying about Dying Light 2, we might see at least one more community update before Bloody Ties arrives on October 13. Unfortunately, there’s no update about the Switch version of Dying Light 2 yet.
