While most leaks are usually unfounded, some sources tend to get it right. Case in point, the German website, MyDealz. In a now-deleted post on its website, MyDealz claims that the PS Plus July lineup will be headlined by 2017’s standalone Uncharted 4 expansion, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Joining the game will be 2020’s WRC 9 and 2019’s A Plague Tale: Innocence, which would make sense after the PS5 version was announced earlier in June.
When Will Sony Announce the PS Plus July Lineup?
MyDealz has been correct in its leaks before. This isn’t to say that the recent leaks are true. However, it does make them more likely. Not to mention, the games lineup for July seems logical, all the considered. Case in point, a next-gen version of A Plague Tale: Innocence has been leaked numerous times over the past few months. In addition to this, sources claim that the game will also be given away free to PS5 owners as part of PS Plus. The next-gen version of A Plague Tale: Innocence is set to launch on July 6. This is also when PS Plus games are usually made available. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to put two and two together to make the leak more credible. Meanwhile, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy could have been added to help drum up hype for the leaked upcoming PC port of the Uncharted series. Speaking of hype, WRC 10 is scheduled to release in September 2021. Making the previous iteration, WRC 9, available for free to PS Plus subscribers could help boost the sales of the upcoming sequel. Of course, this is all mere speculation at this point. Sony hasn’t confirmed the PS Plus July lineup yet which might of course means this might all be false. Either way, it’s worth keeping an eye out to see if other credible sources corroborate what MyDealz leaked. If this is true, the PS Plus July lineup is solid. Here’s to hoping that Sony keeps it up in subsequent months. Microsoft recently upped the ante with all the big upcoming Xbox Game Pass games that it announced back in E3 2021.
